Questions are taken from the official “Database of the Second-class Yacht and Power-driven Small Ship Driver’s Examination” published by Taiwan’s Maritime and Port Bureau, used under the Open Government Data License, version 1.0, with the source attributed. This site only provides a practice interface; it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Bureau. The official bank may be revised, and figure-dependent questions are not included here. The questions, question count, marking and passing standard of the actual examination are whatever the competent authority publishes.
Yes — questions and options are taken verbatim, not rewritten. The only difference is that figure-dependent questions (shapes, lights, chart symbols) are omitted, because the licence does not cover the images and this page cannot display them. The complete official bank can be downloaded from the Maritime and Port Bureau website.
Yes. The Bureau publishes an English edition of the same examination bank; this page uses that edition. The Chinese edition is available on this site as a separate bank.
Not necessarily. This page draws 50 questions from a pool of 714; where a bank has chapters, the draw is spread across them in proportion so that every practice paper has a stable composition. The real examination follows the count and marking published by the competent authority.

No. There is no backend and no outbound request for your data. Bank files are read locally with the browser's FileReader and kept only in sessionStorage, which is cleared when you close the tab. Your answers live in page memory and vanish on reload. No cookies. The host (Cloudflare) may log requests for traffic statistics and security — see “Privacy” below.

Yes, top right. Questions are never translated — each bank is in its own language, so switching the interface also moves you to a bank in that language: to the official counterpart where one exists (second-class yacht, Chinese ⇄ English), otherwise to a bank whose questions are in that language. The menu only lists banks in the current language. A bank you loaded yourself is never swapped out — only the interface text changes. The choice is kept for this tab and resets once you close it.

The site's own code collects, transmits and stores no personal data. It sets no cookies, shows no advertising, and never sells or shares data for marketing. This is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. The host and CDN may log requests for traffic statistics, performance and security (IP address, time, URL, user agent). Those logs are handled by the platform under its own privacy policy; this site cannot make promises on its behalf and never matches them against personal information. If you wish to exercise a right over those platform-side logs under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (access, review, copy, correction, suspension of processing, or deletion), write to contact@bringyourquiz.com and this site will pass the request to the host. Your questions, answers and score are not in those logs — they never leave your browser. Only three things are kept in your browser's sessionStorage: a bank file you loaded yourself, which bank is selected, and the interface language. They stay on your device, are cleared when the tab closes, and can be removed at any time with the "Remove" button. Your answers and score exist only in the page's memory and disappear on reload.
